Colours of espresso is our seasonal blend, created from two select espresso roasted coffees. The two coffees are always carefully selected to form a great tasting tandem that together create a juicy, sweet and full-bodied flavour. The blend is made from the most recent harvests of coffees, selected from farms where we are confident in the quality of their products. In addition, we put together flavours in each season that we feel are in harmony with the season. The seasonal Colours of Espresso should always taste as good as a pure espresso or as a coffee drink with milk.

Farm / Processing Station:

The blend combines 80% washed coffee from Rwanda – Karambi and 20% natural Corazon de Jesus from Costa Rica.

Our baristas notes:

Our spring blend is composed of two coffees. Washed Rwanda which gives the coffee a sweet fruity body and natural Costa Rica which adds creaminess and density to the espresso. You can look forward to a balanced coffee with medium sweetness and medium acidity. The body is dominated by cherry-like fruitiness a creamy mouthfeel and a caramel-like sweetness can be detected in the finish. The coffee is beautifully stable on the grinder and our best espresso was the 1 : 2.05 ratio with a time of around 27 seconds. We use the same recipe to the milk and would like to highlight the texture of the coffee. It is wonderfully creamy and reminiscent of a creamy cherry milkshake.
